Bikini Season


Yes, in fact it is now officially "Bikini Season". This means it is time to say goodbye to the delicious deserts and fast food cravings and time to hit the gym. Once a year we gather around the beach in small little bikinis and parade around proudly and with no fear. In order to be fearless at the beach, you must work for it! Nothing comes for free in life. Here are a few rules on how to get that amazing beach-ready body you always dreamt of:
  1. Always have breakfast. It gives you the most energy so you can take on a new day.
  2. Eat whole grains and get rid of white bread.
  3. Drink lots and lots of water and stop drinking sodas and fruit juices.
  4. Start a routine exercise schedule that you can stick to it.
  5. Walk rather than take cab or the subway. Walking is the best natural cardio exercise and it is for FREE
  6. Cut back on Alcohol which is full of sugars and unnecessary carbs and fats
  7. Take Vitamins daily. As a personal experience, I have learned that they benefit the body miraculously.
  8. Try fake tans. The sun has dangerous UV rays which can cause premature aging of the skin, but who doesn't love a bronze babe? So try the bottle tans, they work just as well, maybe better!
  9. Laugh more. Stress causes bad eating habits so by being more relaxed, you can work on creating a balanced diet daily.
  10. Try to cook your own food rather than eating out. You never know what they put in your food, so the safest way to get the healthiest meal is for yourself to cook it!

Eternal Happiness :)




Sometimes you feel so hopeless when stress takes over your life. You have the same boring routine everyday and wonder if it will ever change or get better. It is easy to just give up on your hopes and dreams and let the stress take over your life, but that will only bring on more pain and suffering.


Once you have accepted that it is normal to have to endure the everyday pain of life it becomes difficult to keep an optimistic view.


Take a break from your busy day and just enjoy the beauty of the small things around you. Start trying to think of the positive things going for you rather then focus on the negatives and letting them keep repeating in your head. You are reason for your stress, so try to relax for just a minute.


Buy some flowers and take a short walk in the park while watching the children play and have fun. Try to think of the fun times you have had and ignore the pessimistic thoughts trying to conquer your world.


It is hard to stay positive and optimistic sometimes, but when you do learn to ignore the harshness of life and start accepting the good things about it, you will learn to love your life and yourself most of all. You need time for yourself to find out what it is you really want. Once you figure out what you want, you have to put all your positive energy into it and somehow and someday you will get it.


It's funny how the world works, if you are patient and keep a positive attitude towards life, you will see how easy life becomes. You should learn to have fun from small things that might seem meaningless, but yet if looked at from a different perspective, they could make you the happiest YOU there is.
